Apart from various performing commitments, I maintain an active teaching studio and provide coaching and master classes for schools in the Nashville area. A main focus of my teaching process is creating an atmosphere for the student to learn comfortably. Once we know what we don’t know, we can take the steps to fill in those gaps in our ability through practice, dedication, and true passion for our craft. It is part of my teaching philosophy to allow students to go through trial and error until they discover lasting success. The best teachers I have ever had in my life are the ones who provided me with the skills I needed to keep learning long after our lessons or classes ended. I strive to be that for my students.
