Kyle Matthees
a performer
From orchestras to dance bands and brass quintet to hip hop tracks, Kyle has developed a sense of versatility that allows him to feel comfortable in a variety of musical genres. For a list of credits and more musical examples, check out the "recordings" page.
an educator
When he is not performing, Kyle is employed as an adjunct instructor in the music theory departments of Belmont University, Middle Tennessee State University, and Lindsey Willson College.
In addition to an active performing schedule, Kyle maintains a private lesson studio of about a dozen middle and high school trumpet players.
